Federal Student Loan Notice
SunTrust Bank will no longer accept new student loan applications for Federal Stafford, Grad PLUS, or Parent PLUS loans after May 24, 2010. If you are interested in a federal student loan for the fall 2010 term, please contact your school for details about the application process.
PLUS Loans are fixed-rate loans available to borrowers regardless of financial need (credit guidelines apply in determining eligiblity). PLUS Loans are offered by the federal government through the U.S. Department of Education's Direct Loan Program. Borrow up to the cost of education minus financial aid.
- Parent PLUS Loans
Go into repayment 60 days after loan funds are fully disbursed to the school (deferments may be available). Click here for more details. - Graduate PLUS Loans
